Ini adalah kisah Puniru si slime dan Kotarou, seorang siswa sekolah menengah, hingga mereka berhenti berteman... Kotarou Kawaii adalah anak sekolah menengah tahun kedua. Ketika dia masih di sekolah dasar, slime yang dia buat menjadi hidup, dan selama tujuh tahun terakhir, dia menghabiskan waktu dengan slime bernama Puniru sebagai "temannya". Namun, ada satu masalah bagi Kotarou... Selama tujuh tahun, keduanya telah tumbuh secara signifikan, dan Puniru telah berubah menjadi gadis yang luar biasa cantik! Selain penampilannya yang cantik, Puniru dengan bebas berubah menjadi berbagai bentuk lucu sebagai slime, menyebabkan Kotarou bersemangat sekaligus bingung dengan perilakunya yang riang setiap saat. Akankah Puniru dan Kotarou dapat terus menghabiskan waktu bersama sebagai "teman" meskipun menghadapi hari-hari yang penuh tantangan di masa depan ?
